Project "Sashakt"
Madhish ParikhI conceptualized and initiated a social change program with a major focus on volunteering actions with the help of Elixir Foundation organization. One of his projects is called 'Sashakt' that means 'to empower'. The project is about empowering and enabling better livelihoods of these families through a monitored intervention.
A special center has been set up that provides medical support to these adopted families with access to quality medicaments at no-cost. He leads a team of 120 volunteers that includes doctors, nurses, pharmacy graduates, university students and other professionals. The project aims to reduce their financial burden on medical treatment and can use it for their basic survival needs.
